Project Overview
The Brief
Chevron supports fans in every sport, because they know the importance of energy — and Fan Energy is the game changer that powers sporting events around the world.
Wildlife teamed up with Momentum Worldwide and Chevron to launch an all-new mobile tour that celebrates the power of fandom at marathons, golf tournaments, soccer matches, football games, baseball games and more — showing how human energy fuels our favorite pastimes.
Our Approach
The Fan Energy HQ weaves together distinct challenges to create a cohesive game that glides between mental and physical fan challenges. With a modular touring footprint that's optimized for each event, our gesture-powered gaming experience appeals to a wide audience.
Guests step into one of two pods, and our system tracks them to activate a new game. We made gameplay simple and intuitive by anchoring key information around our central scoring rings and fans' on-screen avatars, which provide reference and hints to guide their every move. The UI was tailored specifically to our custom-built gaming pods and touchscreen dimensions, optimizing the interaction space while maximizing throughput in the HQ. We brought in persistent visual representations of energy, powered by movement and environmental decibel measurements to communicate the fan energy pulsing through the experience and within the tour footprint, and giving attendees real-time feedback that shows how their engagement is measured.

What Kind of Fan Are You?
Fun Fanatic, Super Supporter, or Expert Enthusiast? Guests find out their Fan Energy score, earning bragging rights in the form of their fan ranking, leaderboard position, and a shareable video keepsake that they can text directly to their phone.
Fans are recorded during their most authentic and passionate moment during our "Victory Energy" challenge, automatically generating a boomerang-style clip that captures everything the Fan Energy HQ is about.
